. . . I happened to notice the other day in the news, that someone mentioned a US law which holds anyone who contributes to a terrorist organization responsible for the damages that organization causes, even if the organization causes carries out other non-terrorist related activities.

Naturally, this provides for some interesting results.

For example, anyone who pays taxes to the United States of America can be held financially liable for the actions of this terrorist organization . . .

. . . no, I'm pretty sure they closed that loophole. They tend to be thorough about excluding themselves from their own laws.

But it seems quite reasonable that anybody who provides a terrorist organization such as Perverted Justice with funds could be held financially liable for the damages inflicted by that organization. I wouldn't be holding on to any NBC stock.

It will be interesting to see.
