More like interrogated, unfortunately. Since they know this guy was a pedophile, they assume that he molested children, and will press them to "confess" what he "did" to them. Sometimes, especially when the child is very young and open to suggestion, kids are convinced that they actually were "molested" and carry around false memories throughout their lives. Police use the same interrogation techniques on children they suspect of being "sexually abused" that they use on hardened criminals to get them to confess their crimes. Oftentimes, the kids, just like the bad guys, crack under the pressure. Sadly, this decent man's legacy may be ruined by false charges brought on by an unjust society. R.I.P.
