This is indeed a terrible tragedy, old friend. It's a shame that man never found GC. If he had found us, we would have let him know that he wasn't evil for being attracted to girls, and that he could very well be a good person regardless of who he was attracted to. It's a terrible shame that society made this man feel so horrible about a normal attraction base that he felt the need to take his life, and that he felt his attraction base was destructive to those he was attracted to.

I'm sorry you had to go through this, Spike. You, this man--a fellow GLer that I never knew--and his family will be in my prayers.
