Just popped in during a free moment and this thread caught my interest. I gotta say Shuriken, my opinion of you is pretty much sky high now. What I'm trying to say is, you're the man.

In fact, I think the only point I disagree on is death as a punishment. Let the mother fuckers rot in jail, but once you introduce the death penalty, you open up the possibility of someone being executed for something they didn't do. Our system of law enforcement is anything but perfect and an unfortunate number of people are convicted every day for something they never did. At least with life imprisonment, the innocent have a chance of being reprieved. This is really the only reason I do not support the death penalty for extremely serious crimes. However, I also feel that by killing someone evil, you are sinking to their level. Besides all that, life in jail is probably a worse punishment for those shitbags than a quick and easy death.

Anyway, glad to see you're an open minded dude! There are far too many people who cling to their opinions as if they would die without them. The more people like you there are in the world, the better a place it becomes.
