Anyway, where is children running around naked and pissing everywhere common?

Nakedness apart, public peeing is practically obligatory in (mainland) China I've heard. toddlers wear the infamous split crotch pants, and older children of both sexes just drop their pants wherever they are to piss and shit.

Of course in the story linked it wasn't vere nice for the girl to be told to do it by the side of the bus, but if Americans weren't so uptight about such things she would have asked to do it in the grass rather than 'hold on'. Was the driver expected to make a detour to the nearest 'restroom'?

All the trauma is a result of societal programming and adults' reaction to the incident, like another activity frequently discussed hereabouts...
