Most criticism of people like Lindsay Ashford is that they are a threat and they are a threat because they advocate adult-child sex. If a movement surfaced that did not advocate adult-child sex or changes to AOC laws then that criticism would be moot.
I have more or less proven this point by my presence at DU. I have been largely accepted there, even though I am quite open about my attractions. I do NOT advocate adult-child sex. Of course, if you actually do advocate those things, then you probably shouldn't lie about it to appease the masses. But then again, I don't think it does a whole lot of good to trumpet it all over the Net either.
