This never happened. I have never had any sympathy whatsoever with what Todd did. His actions made me immensely angry and I conveyed this to him in no uncertain terms privately. I think my public comments on the matter are also unequivocal. The entire episode was very embarrassing and saddening for me.

In my last email to Todd (to which I never received any reply) I asked him to at least provide 28 with proof about the disposition of the funds. I consider 28 to be one of the most neutral and least hot-headed posters here as well as one of the most trustworthy. So I thought that Todd would be able to trust the details of his actions to him without fear of that information leaking out to anybody else. As far as I know, he has not taken up this offer.

I still consider Todd's actions to be theft. Whether he donated the funds to charity or not, he still misappropriated the money of others (myself included) and used it for a purpose that we do not know.
