Apology accepted

I accept your apology for your part in this disaster, however I have to point out that anyone else in your position would have done exactly the same thing. At the time you announced the details of how the funds would be collected and distributed, I had absolute respect for and absolute trust in everyone involved - the same as you did, Lindsay, the same as every other donor did. So I think we would have all made the same mistake you did.

It seems to me that it's time to put this one behind us and go forward, having learned from it as a 'trial run' but not giving up on the idea just because of the problems we had this time. If it helps, Lindsay, I still have absolute respect for you and absolute trust in you, and I would donate to your next charity drive with the same confidence as I did with this one.
