Agreed. I was over-generalizing. Sorry about that.

But to answer you theres no more "assholes" here in Britain than there are in the US, Canada, Mexico, China or anywhere else in the world you want to go to.

Perhaps so, but my experience has been otherwise, just as it has been my experience that Texans are overly represented by assholes (and others will back me up on that.) I suppose if you took the assholes in Britain and the assholes in Texas, they'd be about equal, so you can rightly claim that there are no more assholes in England than America. :-p

And as far as your popular TV shows are concerned first off they began in the UK first complete with insulting judge/member and do you honestly think that if EVERYONE on the show is being nice that half as many people would watch it?

Maybe not, but that doesn't make it right. I just think it says something that we have to import snide bastards from England--I'd have thought there'd be plenty of them in the entertainment industry even here, but apparently not. Anyway, no hard feelings, dude. Most of the Brits on this forum are decent enough, though Piz can get . . . er, pizzy sometimes. :) I can too, I guess. But Simon Cowell has others like him hone it to a fine art.
