The Anti.

This has been discussed alot lately. I have formed my own idea of what an "anti" is based on the many years I've been on this board and many other CL forums (some now long gone).

First, it's clear that all people are different and have their own beliefs and opinions...but in general those with certain beliefs about us and children would certain classify them as against us, i.e - an Anti.

I feel that people who believe MOST (if not all) of the following would classify as an Anti:

1. The belief that children are NOT sexual in any way, shape or form...nor would they EVER want sexual contact, nor would they ever initiate it.

2. The belief that children are NOT capable of consenting to ANY sexual contact.

3. The belief that children should NOT be educated about sexuality and their body...nor should they be given the freedom to explore their sexuality if they chose to.

4. The belief that ALL/ANY sexual contact with kids is ABUSE and is wrong.

5. The belief that ALL (or almost all) pedophiles are either molesting kids or are simply waiting to find a "victim" to abuse someday...and that it is just a matter of time. That we are all rapists waiting to happen.

6. The belief that ALL (or almost all) child sexual abusers ARE pedophiles. That anyone who molests a child must be a pedophile and have sexual desires for kids.

In general, the Antis that I have run into have believed either all of these things...or most of them. I would not immediately condemn someone if they seemed to believe ONE or TWO of those things...I'd give them a chance to debate their side and "show them the light", as it were.

Anyway, feel free to add to my list...but in general, it's a good starting point. I thought I'd add my two cents here.
