Like I said before when commenting about Volvocano, because of the "creative" deletions of the antis, I spent years believing myself to be completely alone.

One post changed that. It was on an anime board where I was looking for an animated picture of Ryoko (too old for most of you). I never did find it, but I found something more important. There was someone there who, when he saw someone make a comment about pedophiles, demanded to know what was wrong with being a pedophile. He drew a clear line about thought and action, and it was something I couldn't believe. He was even winning people over.

I've since come out in the online communities I participate in, and even managed to accumulate enough optimism to come out to someone in real life.

I really don't care much about the education of antis (though it is satisfying to prove my mental superiority on their turf). I care about people like me who need to find out that they aren't alone.
