I happen to think it is the inevitable direction of the evolution of our culture

Ok, some points to think about. What makes us think that there is only ONE way our culture must be headed towards? Is there only ONE right way for us all to live?

The issue of people being uncomfortable with pedophilia is only one aspect of a society which has many things wrong with it.

Everybody realises this at some stage. Probably around the time most people have to go out find a living, people start to realise, this isn't what i want to do, but somehow i have to find a way to make it acceptable to me. When i see the world the way it is, i think "It doesn't have to be THIS way". Yet people do their best to fit in and hide the fact that they are actually against everything society says we must do and feel. Probably everybody has their own beliefs, which society would find unnacceptable. Does that mean everybody is unnacceptable??

This is only OUR culture, Western people, and for only a recent amount of time in history. Life was a lot different before man decided he had to control everything, in the name of religion, or whatever else he felt comfortable with.

I agree that society cannot continue the way it is, but there is no one right way for us to be, and its not because there is something inherently wrong with each and every one of us. People are how they are because they were meant to be that way. Not one of you here, cannot say they would rather not be a pedophile, given a choice.

Whatever it is I am, I want to be that way too :-)
