Man, that sucks bad

On top of everything else, you're family turns your back on them when you need them the most. That's just pathetic. I agree with what Lux said below. Any respect or love that you may feel you own them, forget about it. They don't deserve your respect, your love, or your tears, my friend.

Whatever small consolation it may give, I hope you know that you do still have this family. We're a bit looney and sometimes dysfunctional, but the chains that keep us in oppression are also the same chains which bind us together. We may be society's lepers, but at least we have a leper colony.
