If parents(and this is a tiny minority) wish to sexually educate their children on a practical basis then they will find a whole army of child"welfare" officers medical experts and LEOs willing to nail them to the wall
Children gossip, they share secrets in the playground even a doctor or social worker(thats a health visitor for our american friends) has the power to tip off the authorities if they suspect any form of sexual contact
Now in a perfect world what should happen then is that the parents are visited discreetly to ascertain the type of sexual activity taking place and if its of mutual consent in a loving environment then no further action should be taken(of course it goes without saying that anything without the childs consent should be dealt with by the full weight of the law)
Sadly this scenario would be front page news in the local papers the children would be shuttled round foster parents the family home would be burned down and the parents end up doing 5 years each and the police would be full of their own pomp and ceremony
A good start towards making this more acceptable(and if any teachers are reading this I ask if its feasible)would be if schools introduced a sex education package for youngsters that had a very strong bias towards homework that needed input from the parents to complete the course
Of course you will get the moral majority complaining but for the more forward thinking parents it would be at least make them see that the children are sexual creatures with pretty much the same feelings as us but just confused and unsure
As far as Im concerned my rights as an MAA are a long long way behind the rights of the child but also we have to be aware that the childs rights are secondary to the parents wishes and its these last 2 that we have to bring together to stand any chance of moving onwards so lets get the parents involved in sex education and see it roll from there
The question is how do we get lessons like that into the school curriculum any suggestions anyone?????
