...when it came to listening to or tolerating important points of view that were contrary to his personal agenda, or mainstream sensibilities (always one and the same). Geraldo, like Montell Williams, are also virulently anti-pedo/hebe. I'm glad that Geraldo is off the air, but unfortunately Montell is still thriving.
When the two of them dealt with pedosexuality on their show, they made sure that they included the worst examples among our community, including those who were actual criminals, if they weren't including SCM's instead.
I remember one episode of Geraldo where he was debating with a pedophile convicted for child molesting, the latter of whom was speaking live via satelite from prison. Geraldo made accusatory statements to the man, who, finally losing his patience, stopped talking to Geraldo in a polite tone. As soon as that happened, Geraldo turned to some of his staff members and said, "Cut this guy off...I don't have to take that from him!" The man's link to the show was then immediately terminated, and the typically moronic and biased audience cheered Geraldo for cutting off the debate once the man stopped reacting to Geraldo's incessant badgering in a kind tone!
This is another example of a talk show host (former, in Geraldo's case) who is actually praised for only tolerating the mainstream views of an unpopular topic.
