I can't explain why any of us were born in an era and place where our happiness could not be fulfilled without our loss of freedom. It's a cost some people in this world have to bear in order to motivate us to fight for change so that people in the future will be spared the turmoil that we weren't. This can be cold comfort, I know, but it nevertheless gives us a powerful purpose in the scheme of things. Sadly, some must suffer now so that the future can be a better place.

Just never give up hope. That is the only way to truly lose the battle. Remember I'm here if you need me, as is the rest of the community.
