"Nature, apparently, would still rather girls started making babies whilst young, but that is at odds with the hopes and ambitions of many females today, who seek academic achievements and a future of more than just producing babies year after year."

And yet birth control accomplishes more than celibacy can.

Most academics who delay marriage and children don't do so by shunning sex. Amazing that.

Though the population is largely a non-issue.

We have already passed through multiple Malthusian catastrophes which must've surely annihilated the planet by 1905 at latest. ;p

Further, youth sex so clearly doesn't emperil the West with overpopulation. Despite relatively high teen pregnancy rates in the Anglosphere, the replacement populations are coming through immigration, not through Native populations threatening to breed themselves into oblivion.

Population issues remain very lopsided, with the regions with the least incentive for females to delay having the higher rates.

Clearly incentive, choice and access to birth control matter more than trying to either deny libido or prohibit libido.

And other Western countries prove that when sex is assumed in the young rather than prohibited in the young, populations decrease enough that third worlders must be incentivized to relocate and bring willing wombs. ;p
