This proposed legislation and the recent ruling from the Dutch government that we've been talking about a lot here lately is a sign of desperation in the Western/Northern war on the expression of underage sexuality. Despite purporting to target only MAPs, it very clearly has considerably more far-reaching implications for everyone in society. It's designed to increase paranoia about making a mistake and saying the "wrong" thing to the wrong younger person, in front of the wrong witness, etc. Anyone who dislikes anyone else will be encouraged to make an accusation, especially since life-long punishments and police harassment no longer require due process or the courts. This gives the police even more despotic power over society, and to play judge, jury, and dispenser of punishment all on their own.

This is a very bold attempt to use the current moral hysteria to whip the fascist chain fully around society. They have to use this particular excuse for doing so, because the government officials are well aware that no other subject pulls at the emotional heartstrings as much as this, not even the usual general "family values" rhetoric.

The recent progress we saw here in North America has resulted in a very expected backlash. The bad thing about it is obvious. But the hidden silver lining is this: The governments of the West and North are starting to seriously overreach. They are starting to make it clear that they are manipulating the public's emotional strings to attempt to rationalize police state legislation and further pushes towards a surveillance society where citizens agree to virtually give up the very conception of privacy.

Yes, I predict you can count on these moves emboldening proponents of civil rights who previously stayed quiet about this particular matter. I also predict this will incite many Nons starting a counter-backlash against the hysteria because the Western and Northern governments are putting chains on everyone in the mad attempts to prevent underagers from having "sex talk" with adults. The next step is going to be to attempt to use this same legislation against underagers who have sex talk with other underagers.
