You are right, and it is such a frustrating situation. Ignorance about paedophilia is probably one of the most colossal ignorances of our time. There's something truly pitiful about people who equate a romantic love for children with some kind of depravity. I can't help wondering just what their own conception of love actually is, to make it appear so horrific to love children...
