The way you stated that particular theory, it comes across as: "I (not you, just peds in general) want to have sex with younger girls because there's little to no chance of her getting pregnant. I am noble because I am helping to slow the population growth". That, to me, is preposterous. No real ped would think that way, even subconsciously. I simply cannot consider that as a reason to be a ped.

I did not say that, nor infer it (if you had read my statement without the seeming preconception that I'm replying in some sort of haughty manner; which I'm not). I will repeat the relevant part of what I said: "Both emotional and physical attraction are involved, albeit on differing levels, depending on the girl we're attracted to".

That's a cause for concern, IMO. To become (convert, choose, decide to be) a pedophile because of something one 'can't be arsed' to deal with... um... you don't become a pedophile, you ARE one. Just like you can't become a horse. You can't become a tree. You cannot become a ped. If you DO go that way, for any other reason than natural makeup, then there's a problem. To see children as "a better alternative"... there is so much disrespect and selfishness in that statement, it's scary.

I don't consider it a threat to anyone at all. Some people perceive it as a threat, but it's not.
