Sure he may have brought this upon himself for displaying so many of his desires in a society known for extreme prejudice, but I saw a lot of honesty and sincerity in being a pedophile, especially in that video, "Still In Love." I think he was just doing what all of us would do if these damn laws didn't force us to obey them. I know the law shouldn't be broken, but to give an honest, wonderful person like that life in prison, and knowing that he would never intentionally harm a child is just preposterous. I didn't see a monster at all, and neither did that judge. IMO, all the law is doing is making examples of poor people like Steve to further shoo away what they fear - becoming pedophiles themselves. Society fears people like Steve because he's honest about who he is and not afraid to admit it. You can bet there were some closet pedophiles in that courtroom, and they probably got all hot and bothered just looking at those pictures.
I'm sorry, but I'm really upset right now. I usually don't get bothered over these issues because they're commonplace, but why the fuck do you want to ruin somebody's life so excessively? |
