the matter of perception part is what gets me ..

many here percive, and rightfully so, that some adult-child sexual relationships are consentual ... but, because of that perception.. or, maybe not because of it, and they're just this type of person anyway... they take the stance that they wouldnt do anything about a *potentially* abusive relationship because it *may* be consentual. As a child lover, girl lover, they are, i belive, prefering to belive that such a relationships, or many of them *are* consentual ... which is a bias on thier part...

really, they're looking to dismiss a problem, the abuse of children, by not accepting the concept that many of the children in these situations are not willing participants ... because some children ARE willing, they take their child-loving point of view, in which they wish that more relationships were consentaul .. and begin to shut out the ones that are not ..

i dont know if 'confirmation bias' fits here, but it's close .. they seek to confirm their own belifes or desieres--that adult-child sexual relationships are consentual ... some go so far as to assUme that most are like this ...

i dunno, it just seems wrong to assume consent first ... becuase they're not even bothering to ask if it IS consentual, they're not even willing to investigate.. it just... doesnt fit...
