Emotional Resilience

I really liked that part, Dissident. It's definitely not being taught in the greater society anymore. What's being taught to everyone else is victimhood and discovering your handicaps and condition labels to wear as badges and to trade which brokenness cards they hold. I say this about younger generations to Gen-X me, at the risk of sounding like a hardened old gripe. Which I am. Because I needed to become that. In reality I am an extremely sensitive young guy in my head, with feelings locked away in a closet. The same feelings that make me melt emotionally for a young girl would have me destroyed if the door was opened to a world where people like us remain fair targets for the cruel and vile interactions that so many others are no longer forcibly exposed to once discovered. Unfortunately, it's how most of us have to be if we are to survive. If you're young and just growing older, and realizing what you are, those labels of handicap and disability and all the trendy names associated with them are not going to help you one bit as girl lover with a physical attraction to kids. You actually need to go the opposite way and develop a thick skin and a strong personal emotional resilience, because in this life you are going to need it. Emotional Resilience!
Good to see you post, Dissident. And more than just one random day, I see:)
