I saw Kim Darby in that role. I think I fell in love with her because of it. But, alas, she is/was way above my AoA.

One of the most intense love crushes I had (and have to this day) is Jean Louise Finch played by Mary Badham. She would have been 13 in 1966 and, like Kim, way above my AoA. But She would have been good for the part, I think.

I watched To Kill A Mockingbird many, many times... not because of the theme of the story but because I was so sexually attracted to Scout.
