Seeking the opinions of other girl lovers.

Alright, there's teens, and while I know even they can be manipulated via emotion and simplistic arguments sometimes, I am highly worried about adolescents. Teenagers have at least a little instinct in the presence of potential danger. However, I feel there's been a troubling push recently, for even younger kids to get them out into public protesting, often during school hours (and really, what kid doesn't love an excuse to get out of school?).

I worry that this might turn into an organized and pressured situation for many kids in some (or many) schools, foisted on them by teachers. Forgive me for being suspicious of teachers who have previously been pushing upon children the idea that they are living in the wrong body just for really liking their same-sex friends, but my disdain for adults trying to get kids to go out and protest political causes that they cannot yet fully comprehend was already documented at this place, long before all these crazy current events were ever on the horizon.

There is another concern I have, and that is adults who are so freakishly dedicated to a pet political cause, that they would gladly throw children directly into harm's way, strategizing their tragic injuries or deaths as a "great opportunity" for capitalizing on the emotional reactions of the general public.

I wonder what others think about such a strategy, because I know what effect it would have on me, and it would be the opposite of what those strategists would be hoping for.

Then again, my views and reactions are not always the same as the bleeting herds I see around me offline so often.

How would you react to adolescent fodder being purposely placed in harm's way at a protest with a high possibility of confrontation and violence, only to be injured or killed? Would you declare them righteous child-martyrs, or would you call for the heads of adult manipulators engaged in purposeful child endangerment?

Something to think about, because it seems to be an approaching reality.
