... but no Bible-believing church would accept such nonsense.

The narrative that children are innocent has its roots in an anti-Christian ideology. The true church recognizes ALL people as sinners FROM BIRTH, and offers a message of salvation to all who will accept it that will free them from error.

Keep in mind that Jesus was born to an unmarried young woman in a culture where women were almost always married by age 12 or 13.

As for these pastors who mislead the people? The Bible warns about those who mislead immature believers: it would be better if they had a millstone tied to their neck and were thrown into the sea.
