I wrote this years ago in 2020. When viewed through the lens of that year it seems to be very obviously written then. The story is a possibility of one future we might see in my opinion. It used to be about 4 times as long. I knocked out how the MC gets a favor from a ranking official to shorten it so it can be more easily read on this board. The unfortunate effect of that is it made half of what is left exposition. Even so I think it still reads well. At least I hope so.
