When I was young we had to read a story called Harrison Bergeron. That story served me well in life and as a reference in woke times.. the absurdity of trying force everyone to be the same in terms of ability or talent or lot in life. I'm sure it applies to trying to force what people take interest in as well. For instance, I don't have animosity toward little fat girls, but I just don't have any attraction to them either, so there would be no way I would ever overrule myself and PRETEND that I like fat girls for the sake of some virtuous noble imperative. Those who do that had better watch out, because at some point they will be getting shamed into accepting large hairy grown men who identify as little girls being part of what they like. Good luck continuing down THAT path, wokester losers. YUCK!!
Back to Bergeron. Recently I was awe struck by news headline narrators who stumble each and every time they deliver events. I couldn't understand how this is their job and yet they can never do a segment without stumbling. Then it hit me. We as a society have been heading full-steam toward Bergeron's reality. Are we still? One can at least *hope* the course is changing. Awakening from Woke has been a slow painful process for many. As for me, I never tried to tell myself I like what I DON'T like out of shame nor false virtue. Screw that. I'll take the slender cutie off your hands beta-boys, thank you very much. ![]() |
