All this goddamn autumn, or actually even a couple of years, I've been thinking about an idea for which I haven't come up with a final solution. I may have found a working thought now. And the funny thing is that it's not some grandiose idea, there's no dazzling paradox, no fancy philosophical terms are used: it's just about what some dull everyday object (uncountable) can do. But that's what metaphors are: you're not philosophizing on a verbal level, you just philosophize with metaphors, and there you use everyday objects and events and so on. Needless to say that I feel relief today.
