The word is not English, and the Anglo-Americans do not own the starry sky, so I refuse to pronounce it in the English way (like beetlejuice). It is originally Arabic, but it would be too much for us to pronounce it in Arabic. To me, it sounds slightly German -- that "eu" diphtong -- but it is not German either.

So I pronounce it as I see it. And I wish it would explode as a giant supernova in my lifetime!
