Amusingly

I've been seeing a lot of people who don't use AI much, proudly declare with absolute certainty that AI cannot generate pictures indistinguishable from reality. They are certain that they would always be able to tell. One of those people who was certain and said I was stupid for saying it was already here literally sent this pic to me.

On another side I was laughing at a disaster relief official who made over 100k a year saying it appeared out of nowhere and no one saw it coming. And that it's the result of Global Warming. Don't care what anyone believes with regards to climate change, but that's deflection on a very poor job done. If a disaster official can't communicate and understand NHC forecasts than they are not qualified for the job. Period. Where do I sign up? Apparently they hire any fool these days.
