Political groups use it against one another.

Racial groups use it against one another.

Religious sects use it against one another.

The conspiracy theories using it are endless, and that's not even to say they are all necessarily untrue. Some of these include accusations of snatching kids for child sacrifices or eating children or parts of children. Ancient peoples did indeed offer up child sacrifices for various reasons, so it could still exist in the shadows, I suppose.

But that's not the child love version of pedo.

The Big Bad Wolf is a real thing, but not all pedos are opprtunistic predators. In fact, the majority are not. Some need to be taught respect for the kids they feel desire for, however, and how to maintain self-control, for the benefit of kids and themselves.

My respect for girls in particular means I certainly want people checked for XY chromosomes in female sport competition. I don't want them getting hurt by biological males or losing out on awards or scholarships to them. I will gladly take heat for that any day.

I'm sympathetic to the idea of doing the same for bathroom use. Subjecting female kids to stronger males who may or may not have bad intentions is not something they should be expected to endure for somebody else's feelings.

I don't think these opinions are restricted to any Left vs. Right ideology. In my personal opinion, it comes with the territory of being a girl lover (strictly of the XX variety).
