/openchat/ will be open Friday & Saturday.

Your time zones may vary. It is NOT the chat you see which is always listed as open. Most people cannot access that chat unless they registered years ago. It's the other one at the top of the home page, usually shown as closed, but we are trying very slowly to change that.

Anyway, some appreciation was expressed for a Friday chat, so it will be open again this week, later in the day. This might be the last Friday for a while, however.

Saturday chat had (9? Let's just say 10) participants, partially filled by leftovers from the highly respected Lifeline chat.

Anyway, the goal is to get more trusted people capable of opening and closing the chat over here at various times of the week, since it is the only portion of GC still accepting new registrants. (This message board does not currently accept new registrants.)
