...even though I'm not drunk.
I was watching a video and they happened to mention the name Sonny Bono there, so I got the urge to listen to these three old songs. These two songs were the first two songs that I loved back then, a zillion years ago, when I grew out of my childhood and began to listen to "pop" songs. I Got You Babe https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKGjCPBSG38 Tambourine Man https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Swqw5a8I4b4 Then, a couple of years later, Happy Together was my favorite, and I always associated it with one girl, N, that I had fallen love with (she was only one year younger than me). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ZEURntrQOg The funny thing is that I saw that woman in 2020 or 2021 and told her that I had a crush on her when she was in x grade and I was in x+1 grade, and she laughed and said it is nice to hear that 50 years later... I think it was in fact 53 or 54 years later. It is dangerous for me to listen to old songs and I do it extremely seldom. But very strange, quaint, old feelings arose in my mind when I heard those songs -- 1965 was 59 years ago. Incredible... |
