This time it was Valentine's Day. I was waiting for my coffee.

A large and somewhat rotund Latin-M with curly hair of about 30 and wearing foreign flip-flops, bought his white lil girl of about 6 or 7 with a red heart on her cheek... a Happy Meal and a small iced Hawaiian Punch. She was (admittedly) very cute and slightly precocious.

I watched her take her own food and lead out the door. He seemed to follow her with a rather wry smile on his face.

My brain said "hmm.." and fished for possible "normal" explanations.

I'm not claiming anything, except that my brain's rolodex came up empty.
