It was a long time ago, I had a radio/tape recorder and C cassettes, or what the fuck they were called in English, and some evening I had happened to record this guitar piece. For decades and decades I did not even know what it was, but I listened to it from time to time and thought it was good. It was one of the first pieces I had recorded with that ancient machine.

Of course it is originally a violin partita, but you know, I used to be a guitar man... And because I am speaking about old times, about the pitiful beginning of the 70s, an old guitarist like Segovia is well suited as a player: an old recording reminds me of the slightly rasping sound of that ancient tape recorder.
