I feel like I am missing a subplot here, but I will reply anyway, because - why not?

True, and it's a good thing to teach children. I can't speak of boys, but I know girls. They play the game called "follow the leader". What they get from a man, they give back. With some exceptions, it is on a case-by-case basis and is not generalized to all men.
