Siblings tend to have long histories with each other, and sometimes a long list of wrongs. Sometimes past trespasses make it impossible for one to trust the other. Sometimes there is hatred precisely because they understand each other so well.

Sorry that your nieces do not get along with each other, but it is not that much of a mystery why it sometimes turns out this way.
