I would agree

Never really thought about the whole innocence thing much. But, the more I think about it the more I agree. I remember having a chat back when I was babysitting a little girl asking for advice when she did something wrong. The vast majority of people were of the opinion that she was incapable of doing wrong and it must be my fault or her mothers fault for causing her to do the wrong thing. I thought it was just silly at the time. But, as I think on it more yes, there are so many people who think a child could never be wrong. It reminds me of all the people who say there are no bad dogs, only bad owners.

Society does seem to have 2 extremes though, I've seen a lot of that children are perfect and can do no wrong so punishment of any kind is bad. And also a lot of humans are bad so bringing children into this world is bad. Recently a lot of leading "influencers" did the poll of is the universe better with humans in it? I guess all copying each other. And especially those among the left I follow such as Hank Green of scishow fame it was the universe is better if none of us existed. So original sin as it were has it's fans even among the non-religious.
