Used to really respect Taibbi and Greenwald. Can't say I've been a fan of them lately. They're both real journalists but have basically sold out IMHO. Feel free to disagree with me on that. I wish there were more ways to monetize solid journalism without some sort of bullshit agenda whether corporate or audience capture or whatever.

The Twitter thing is far from being Taibbi's best work. Single source who's a billionaire oligarch and he got spoon-fed one-sided information. He used to avoid sloppy shit like that. Now he doesn't care and just wants the money and attention. I still like the guy, but it is what it is...
