Personally I don't see the issue with anyone having multiple nicks on anything. I know of someone who does it on my favorite sports boards to have one he uses just for stats and one for opinions.

Unless it's against board rules who cares?

The internet is anonymous and sometimes if you feel people know you to well you might want that anonymity back or any number of reasons already posted.
