Russia has gays after all. I've seen them. They work for the theater and the ballet, and some of them thrive and even get to be alpha-bitches within their defined roles. I'm completely for that. They excel better than anyone in the right places. Everyone needs a place to fit in and contribute to the betterment of society, including us.

Here in the US, however, things have indeed rolled down the slippery slope with ever-gaining speed. For decades we have been guilted and shamed into giving just a few more inch-miles. Just don't inflict violence. Just tolerate. Just assimilate. Just punish those who claim religious exemption from proactively validating. Here's every whimsical fetish imaginable and you must assimilate them all. Just... let us mold your kids.

I get it. I do. I just know violence isn't the answer when something can be easily controlled with productive outlets that create a well-greased happy society.

Who knows, though. Maybe I'm part of the problem. I never promised GC a rose garden.
