It's called an Indian summer here too...

...but the bright October days I mentioned were not an Indian summer, there were only a couple of them, they were still quite cool and they were too late -- here the Indian summer, if it occurs, is in September.

This was not important, but I told it anyway. How irritating that typing with 9 fingers is sometimes hard when the joints are sore. I need ibuprofen now.
