The part I don't get is how to meet them to begin with. I've never really been any good with the "meeting new people" part of socialization. I don't know how to get into a position, or even recognize when I'm in a position to start talking to someone, especially with kids given how many adults immediately get worried when they see another adult interacting with kids. All of my girls have come to me, more or less, and it's been a good while since any girl young enough to still be called a LG has initiated a friendship.
