Thank you for your reply. I had been hoping that ASSTR's allegedly creaky servers had fallen over again. I remember that happening a few years ago and it did reappear after a long absence.

Now I am more pessemistic. Part of me often wondered how It wasn't shut down by the harsh US legal system, but as time passed, I just began to assume that barring server problems, it would always be there.

These days one cannot be complacent about anything. The UK is now about to become a failed state and no one in their wildest dreams imagined that could happen back in 2019.
