I feel that now I am closer to my relatives than before for 3 reasons: first, I am not the only black sheep in my family any more, secondly my novels (I don't mean my relatives have despised me earlier, nothing like that, of course, but now they appreciate me more anyway) and thirdly, at the funeral I had the role of a comforter, I was sitting between my sister and my nephew and they seemed to appreciate my comforting gestures, and I also comforted the others.
