The US was providing Nicaraguan rebels with weapons for coke. Ortega himself is scum (and a proven sexual abuser) but coke wasn't going to make it to American markets if there wasn't enough of it, right?

Kind of like how Obama gifted weapons to the cartels.

The figure for military aid to The Students is higher. But hey, the opiate crisis needs poppy fields.
