I would agree that the school was handling this poorly (if the students' accounts are correct - the facts are disputed of course). But it is not an example of what I was talking about. I was wondering if there are any cases of kids being made to feel inferior for being straight. This was a case of a student refusing to learn about other sexual orientations and the school insisting they should, which is importantly different.
