This was thirty years ago. Did I tell this before? When I was 19/20, my girlfriend who was 16 with her mother's full knowledge and approval of us.. had a same age best friend (who was very dramatic, clingy and emotional, and I honestly couldn't stand her) who worked in a fast food place. Apparently she was dating the assistant manager there, some dude who was probably like 25, although I don't remember exactly. He was clearly stringing her along, and I'd bet she wasn't the only one either. He only hung out with us once very briefly, and only because of her emotional pleas with him to do so. I would definitely not call him a girl lover, but I do suspect that sort of thing goes on all the time in those businesses. Pretty sure they broke up and I had to endure some more dramatic tears and running mascara from her for the sake of my girlfriend. If I remember, I think my girlfriend told me she also got pregnant by him. Girl was just a complete mess. I have to try hard to look back now and feel bad for her, because I can still feel how annoying she was from memory.

Meh, I do hope her life improved and she got a handle on her blubbering. Guys like him are everywhere, and they give true girl lovers a bad name. Come to think of it, maybe she was just living out her favorite Bon Jovi love tragedy song or something. As teen girls so often tend to do..!
