There are so many kids who don't have a trusted adult in their lives. So many who are deemed outcasts by other kids for being different.

In some cases it is because these kids are rather brilliant for their age, and like the video I posted recently, the feelings of not wanting to interact with perceived immaturity is often mutual.

That doesn't necessarily mean such a kid and girl lover drawn to one another are always drawn for all the right reasons, but it does lend itself to a much more complex situation than the standard "predator zeroing in on prey" dictate.

Anyone who has dealt with actual kids who became involved with an adult would attest that while this is sometimes the case, it definitely isn't always or even usually that clear cut. There is often seeking out on the part of the child and significant hesitancy on the part of the adult, but the reality not only wouldn't fit the narrative. It could also mean the loss of professional careers to come out and assert such an.. inconvenient truth.
